Payment, Shipping and Refunds

Pricing and Charges:

All prices and charges are in US dollar amounts and LughnassadhBooks.com requires all payments be submitted in US dollars.

LughnassadhBooks.com requires customer confirmation of e-mail address and shipping address before shipment of merchandise. LughnassadhBooks.com does not accept COD orders. The following payment terms apply: Proof-of-receipt in the form of a signature from the buyer is required. The signature is part of the proof of delivery. We use the U.S. Postal Service Signature Confirmation on ALL orders.

Forms of Payment:

LughnassadhBooks.com accepts the following forms of payment.

1. Money Orders, Cashiers/Bank Checks: Purchases made with a money order, cashiers or bank check will be processed on the next business day after receipt of payment.
2. Personal Checks/Company Checks: (USA Residents Only) Purshases made with a personal or company check will be processed within 4 business days after receipt of payment.

   LughnassadhBooks.com holds all books ordered reserved for 10 days while payments are sent via snail mail.

3. Credit Cards: Purchases made by credit card will be processed on the next business day. See notes on PayPal. LughnassadhBooks.com anti-fraud policies require that customer billing address and shipping address be the same for all credit card transactions.
4. PayPal: Purchases made by Paypal will be processed on the next business day after PayPal notifies lughnassadhbooks.com that the transaction has been approved.

Shipping and Handling Charges:

Including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, other U.S. points off-shore, and military addresses. Based on 1 Hardcover Book, or 10 paperback books and are subject to the following fees:
Shipping fees include tracking and insurance.

• A charge of $6.75 for USPS Media Mail shipping and handling.
• A charge of $14.50 for USPS Priority Mail.
• A charge of $22.35 for USPS Express Mail.
• A charge of $0.75 for each additional hard cover book / item after the first.
• A charge of $0.20 for each additional paperback book after the first.

Notice to customers requesting shipment to APO/FPO Box addresses: We can not guarantee timely delivery. Shipping time through the USPS can take as much as 4 - 8 weeks. The USPS requires that 72 days (10 weeks) pass before claiming that a package is lost.

• A charge of $18.00 for First-Class Mail International Package (was Postal Air Mail).
• A charge of $26.95 for Priority Mail International (Note: Not available on book orders of 10 or more as there is a 4lb. weight limit.)
• A charge of $35.00 for Express Mail International.
• A charge of $0.75 for each additional book / item after the first.
• A charge of $0.20 for each additional paperback book after the first.
• A charge of 10% for handling.

• A charge of $24.00 for First-Class Mail International Package (was Postal Air Mail).
• Priority Mail International: Shipping prices are done by zones and weight (Note: Not available on multiple book orders as there is a 4lb. weight limit.)
• Express Mail International : Shipping prices are done by zones and weight
• A charge of $0.75 for each additional book / item after the first.
• A charge of $0.20 for each additional paperback book after the first.
• A charge of 10% for handling.

WARNING TO INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS

Customs officials in several countries sometimes break open packages and confiscate materials they don't approve of. So far as we know there is NO recourse for the mail-order customer who is the victim of this.

While we sympathize with our customers, LughnassadhBooks.com cannot take responsibility for the oppressive practices of other countries. Please be aware you are ordering these items at your own risk and that LughnassadhBooks.com is not obligated to replace or refund orders that are lost or damaged as a result of customs interference. (We will refund orders that are merely returned to us undamaged.)

Taking into consideration LughnassadhBooks.com ignorance of your country's jurisprudence, the buyer hereby exempts LughnassadhBooks.com from all liability present and future regarding local customs, laws and/or delivery and/or condition of arrival of goods. No guarantee therefore is solicited nor expected regarding the afore mentioned and any and all claims to liability from LughnassadhBooks.com are waived.

Qualifing for Free Shipping:

Qualifing is the easy part. Select any book or combination of books that equal or exceed the dollar amount to qualify. For our standard promotion, the amount must equal or exceed $25.00 for domestic shipping and $100.00 for international shipping.

— Other promotions may increase, decrease, or nullify the standard promotional free shipping. —

What is free — the basic shipping we provide, USPS Media Mail for books shipped within the United States and its territories, or USPS Air Mail to any country we ship to. Additional per book charges are waived after qualifying for free shipping.

Because we are giving away free shipping to those who qualify and select USPS Media Mail or USPS Air Mail, We didn't think it would be fair to charge full price for those of you who wanted their books a little faster. So, we have discounted the price for the speedier mailings by the amount of the basic shipping.

Returns and Refunds

Condition:
Books purchased from LughnassadhBooks.com are sold AS IS, in the condition stated in the description of the book on this web site. Purchasers wishing to dispute the stated condition of any book purchased from LughnassadhBooks.com are entitled to a refund of the purchase price of said book, provided that they first return it to the address provided on this web site. Shipping costs are not subject to refunds.

Damaged in Transit:
Occasionally, items can be damaged in transit or through accidents that lughnassadhbooks.com cannot prevent. In the event that an item purchased from lughnassadhbooks.com is delivered in a broken or damaged condition, the following return policy applies:

If you wish to return an item that has been damaged or broken during shipment, please fill out the Returns Form with all requested information. In particular, please let me know how the item was damaged (break, tear, stain, etc.), and whether you would prefer to receive a cash refund or an exchange for another item(s) from the LughnassadhBooks.com catalog of equal or greater value (if you select an item[s] of greater value, you will be required to pay the difference).

LughnassadhBooks.com must receive the damaged item(s) from the customer before a refund can be issued. Processing of refunds can take up to 10 business days after return receipt of the damaged item(s); the sooner I receive the item(s) from the customer, the sooner they will receive their refund.

Damaged item(s) must be returned within 30 days of the shipment postmark date. Credit card orders are eligible for full cash refunds on returns, but lughnassadhbooks.com is unable to accept product exchanges in the case of credit card orders at this time. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Sale Items:
Items purchased at a reduced price from the posted price as a part of a sale or other promotional activity will be eligible for refunds as described above, except that the amount refunded will be the actual amount paid for the purchase (plus sales tax, if applicable) and not the posted "regular" price of that item.

Lost in Transit:
Items lost in transit are subject to refunds only after the maximum allowable shipping time required by the carrier and its insurance agent has elapsed.

Unclaimed Shipments:
Any unclaimed shipment that is returned to us by the carrier used for that shipment will be subject to extra shipping fees in the event that the customer elects to retain the order. Orders that are canceled after they have been shipped will be refunded only to the extent that the customer will receive the purchase price of the item (plus sales tax if applicable) upon the return of product.
